Family members: My parents, my brother and me
Favorite subject: History is my favorite subject, because it is very important for us to learn from the past.
Activities: I am a member of student council and peer listener in our school.
Next steps: I am planning to major in sociology in college.
Career goals: I have the desire to be a sociologist simply because I have a passion to make the world a better place.
Heroes: Rosa Parks is the person I respect most, because she had the courage to face reality and injustice.
Hobbies: Reading and observing life is my greatest hobby. I like cycling too.
Current job(s): In the summer I assist my brother’s job.
Volunteer/community work: I often go to St. Francis retreat house to help, and I also assist my teachers to help international students.
Likes: I appreciate nature, kindness, generosity and charity.
Dislikes: I dislike racism, sexism and bullying.
Greatest accomplishment (so far): The greatest accomplishment I have made so far is I am the first international student who has been elected as class president.
Advice for peers: Never be afraid to leave the comfort zone and go explore the unknown.
