Ziegels Church, 9990 Church Road, Breinigsville, will offer a soup meal after the noon Ash Wednesday service on March 6.
There will also be a soup meal at 6 p.m. followed by a 7 p.m. service the same day.

St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran, 1028 Church St., Fogelsville, is offering a worship service with communion and imposition of ashes 7 p.m. March 6. There will be Lenten evening prayers at 7 p.m. Tuesdays March 12 through April 19.
The Ladies Aid is accepting orders for its potato and cheddar pierogi sale March 21-23. Pickup will be on March 23.

To observe National Oreo Day, the library is hosting an Oreo Taste Test for kids in second grade and older 4:30 p.m. March 6.
Teens in grades six through 12 will learn how to apply basic concepts in geometry, physics and computer science to create video games at the Teen Game Design class 5:30 p.m. March 7.
The Tinkerlab for kids in second- to fifth grade is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. March 7.
Lil Builders for kids age 2 and older is scheduled for 11 a.m. March 8.

The Teen Mario Kart tournament for kids in six through 12 grades will take place 1-3 p.m. March 9.
Kids ages 3 to 6 may take part in various STEAM activities at the Discovery Zone 1 p.m. March 12.
The Senior Book Club will meet to discuss the novel “Before We Were Yours” by Lisa Wingate 3:30 p.m. March 12 at Luther Crest retirement community, 800 Hausman Road, South Whitehall.
There will be a film shown and discussion on “Separated, Children at the Border” by the PBS Frontline Series at 6:30 p.m. March 12.
Everyone is invited to in the library’s writing workshop “What’s Your Story” at 3 p.m. March 13. Learn how to write a memoir.
All these programs are free and held at the library except the Senior Book Club.
