A 21-year-old driver, of Bethlehem, escaped injury when his vehicle fell from a concrete barrier on Interstate 78 in Salisbury Township 8:43 a.m. Feb. 12.
According to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville, the driver was westbound near mile marker 58.7 when he lost control of his vehicle. The vehicle crossed from the left to the right lane, left the road, struck an embankment and debris on the roadside and landed on the top of a barrier. The vehicle continued off the barrier before falling to the ground.
The driver was cited for driving at a safe speed, according to police.
