Calendars for Sheckler Elementary School’s readathon are due to your child’s teacher by March 1. Remember to add up your minutes read for the month of February.

Also, calendars must be signed by a parent.

Hope everyone was able to take some time to participate and enjoy the activities that were held in honor of Read Across America Week and TV Turn Off Week.

On March 6, Sheckler’s science fair will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the school’s gymnasium. All families are invited to come and see the projects and experiments on display created by fourth-grade students.

Projects are to be dropped off after school between 3:15 p.m. and 5 p.m. March 4 or before school between 7:15 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. March 5.

All projects must be in no later than 9 a.m. March 5.

Catasauqua Area School District will be closed for students March 8 for an Act 80 day.
