Roughies Report: CHS students receive LCTI honor

Congratulations to Catasauqua High School students Zach Bolzau (web design/web programming-morning), Megyn Herman (administrative office technology/accounting-afternoon), Katelyn Gable (computer-aided drafting and design-afternoon), Amanda Mathis (advertising design/commercial art-afternoon) and Tucker Wilson (painting and decorating-afternoon) for being selected by their instructors as Lehigh Career & Technical Institute’s January Students of the Month.

Students are selected each month based on their outstanding effort, improvement, achievement or leadership in their respective programs.

Catasauqua Community Cares Program is hosting a string art workshop fundraiser run by Just Stringing Around: string art by Lisa at Catasauqua High School, 2500 W. Bullshead Road, Northampton. The event will be held 12:30-3:30 p.m. March 9.

Enjoy an afternoon making an amazing project while helping C3P to raise money for children for meals on the weekends and holidays. Light refreshments will be available.

The boards are already stained and nailed. There will be many string colors to choose from.
