FEB. 4

In the 200 block of Front Street, officers investigated a harassment by communications report.

The department said cars were racing engines in the 100 block of Milton Street.

Police responded to a report of harassment via Instagram in the 200 block of Poplar Street.

At Sheckler Elementary School, 201 N. 14th St., a problem with a student occurred.

An investigation is continuing for a juvenile complaint that occurred at Catasauqua High School, 2500 W. Bullshead Road, Northampton.

In the 200 block of Wood Street, a vehicle was tagged.

Police investigated a disturbance in the 100 block of Front Street.

A dispute between a boyfriend and girlfriend occurred in the 500 block of Fourth Street.

A security check was conducted in the 100 block of Canal Street. A door was open, and a water pipe was broken. The water was shut off and the owner notified.

Officers assisted a citizen who fell in the 100 block of Front Street.

The unauthorized use of a vehicle in the 100 block of South Front Street was reported. The vehicle was later returned.

A 22-year-old female, of Northampton, was arrested for driving under the influence and careless driving in the 500 block of Front Street.

A vehicle owner was notified when police investigated a parking complaint in the 700 block of Fourth Street.

Officers sought vehicle repossession information on Howertown Road.

At Catasauqua High School, a juvenile case occurred.

On North 12th Street, police sought vehicle repossession information.

In the 200 block of Race Street, an operator was cited and the vehicle towed.

Officers assisted PPL Electric Utilities in the 200 block of Bridge Street.

At Sheckler Elementary School, a problem with a defiant juvenile brought police to the scene.

A hit and run occurred in the 200 block of Church Street. A fence was damaged.

A neighbor dispute in the 400 block of Limestone Street took place.

FEB. 6

On Second Street, a vehicle was stopped. The operator was cited and the vehicle towed.

At Catasauqua High School, a juvenile issue occurred.

In the 500 block of Wood Street, police investigated a civil matter regarding custody and a protection-from-abuse order.

A dispute between a husband and wife occurred in the 500 block of Wood Street.

An abandoned vehicle was tagged in the 100 block of Mulberry Street.

FEB. 7

A 16-year-old male, of Catasauqua, was arrested in the 300 block of Bridge Street for possession of drugs.

Members of the department sought information in the 600 block of Green Street for North Catasauqua police.

A vehicle was ticketed and towed in the 100 block of Front Street.

The department is investigating a fraud case in the 400 block of Race Street.

A civil issue with a landlord in the 700 block of Front Street was reported to police.

FEB. 8

A juvenile complaint at Catasauqua High School brought out police.

Police said a civil matter over a vehicle occurred in the 100 block of Pine Street.

A vehicle was ticketed in the 700 block of Second Street.

In the 700 block of Third Street, a hit and run, involving a parked vehicle, took place.

An animal complaint in the 100 block of Second Street was reported.

FEB. 9

A dispute between a boyfriend and girlfriend occurred in the 100 block of Second Street.

A hazardous condition (a tarp blowing off a roof) in the 100 block of Second Street was reported. The fire department was notified to remove and/or secure it.

A custody dispute in the 200 block of Wood Street took place.

Officers attempted to locate an individual on Front Street for Whitehall police.

An owner was contacted to move a vehicle in the 100 block of Walnut Street.

Police assisted North Catasauqua officers in the 1000 block of Third Street for a noise complaint.

FEB. 10

In the 1100 block of Fifth Street, officers assisted North Catasauqua police for a welfare check.

Members of the department conducted a welfare check for Whitehall police in the 500 block of Front Street.

Citations were issued and the vehicle towed in the 100 block of Walnut Street, police said.

On Fourth Street, police assisted North Catasauqua officers for a vehicle stop.

In the 200 block of Bridge Street, an individual was turned over to Montgomery County detectives.

Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 300 block of School Street. A registration plate was seized and returned to Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.
