There will be another warehouse on Spring Creek Road – a decision made at the Feb. 13 Alburtis Borough Council meeting.
Greg David and Jared Vasquez, of Liberty Property Trust and Christopher Williams, of Barry Isett & Associates, attended to discuss the preliminary/final review of Spring Creek Properties lots 9 and 10, a proposed warehouse facility lot consolidation and land development.

Council was told there will be landscaping and lighting all around. Four tenths of an acre was sold to Cold Nose Lodge on West Penn Avenue. There will be a gated emergency exit onto West Penn Avenue by the dance studio, to be used only for real emergencies. The number of bays is yet to be determined. The warehouse for lot 9, located in Alburtis, will be highway commercial and is next to lot 10, located mostly in Lower Macungie Township. There should be no trucks parking with their engines running overnight. The plan has been recommended for approval by the Alburtis Planning Commission and the Lower Macungie Planning Commission.
