Weisenberg Lowhill Township Historical Society will have its quarterly meeting 7:30 p.m. Feb. 26 at the Weisenberg Township Municipal Building, 2175 Seipstown Road, Fogelsville.
The speaker will be Sue Tantsits, co-owner of Edge of the Woods Native Plant Nursery, 2415 Route 100, Orefield.
Tantsits has a Pennsylvania Horticulturist-Sustainable Landscape certification and gives native plant and plant biology education programs at local school districts, garden clubs and flower shows.
She will discuss the importance of restoring and keeping plants native to this area before early settlement and how they have been influenced by activities and developments in the communities.

Just a reminder: Weisenberg Township Volunteer Fire Company, 2500 Golden Key Road, is selling corn pies, with chicken, corn, potatoes and hard-boiled eggs; and sticky buns (plain, walnut or raisin in small or large) through Feb. 26.
Pickup is March 7 at the fire station.
