Lehigh Valley Zoo, 5150 Game Preserve Road, Schnecksville, is hosting a Wild at Heart Valentine’s Day event for families Feb. 16.

Enjoy a day of music, crafts, animal encounters and raffles.

Bagged lunches will be provided.

Members of Christ’s Church at Lowhill, 4695 Lowhill Church Road, New Tripoli, are accepting orders until March 10 for their hoagie sale.

Choose from Italian with everything, no peppers, no onions with peppers, no onions or peppers, ham and cheese, turkey, roast beef, tuna and veggie.

Hoagies are supplied by Thomson’s Meat Market, Walnutport.

Pick up is scheduled for 5-6 p.m. March 20 in the social hall.

The church is also accepting orders until March 10 for its homemade Easter candy.

Choices include peanut butter light and dark chocolate eggs, cotton tails white chocolate, coconut cream, peanut rolled light and dark chocolate, coconut cream, no peanuts light and dark chocolate, peanut clusters light and dark chocolate, nonpareils light and dark chocolate, sweet and salty light, dark and white chocolate, raisin clusters light and dark chocolate, peanut butter meltaway‘s creamy light and dark chocolate.

All candy is by the half-pound or pound.

Pick up will be before 9:45 a.m. and after 11:30 a.m. April 7 or other arrangements can be made.

Morgenland Church, 3120 Weidasville Road, Orefield, will be having a bake sale 9 a.m. on Feb. 17.

Proceeds from the bake sale will help to raise funds for the purchase of new sidewalk signs.
