Representative Jeanne McNeill read to Mrs. Susan Walker’s 2nd grade Class at Calypso ES recently as part of the “Teach a Girl to Lead” reading project by the Center for American Women and Politics at Rutgers University. Women Legislators from across the country were asked to read “Grace for President” to young students to “inspire girls to follow in the footsteps of women leaders, and to help boys grow up with more inclusive ideas about who can lead.” McNeill then donated the book to Calypso’s library.
