Salem United Church of Christ, 615 Third St., will be having an all-you-can-eat soup, salad and sweets event 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Feb. 9.

There will be a variety of soups, salad and coleslaw, in addition to a variety of sweets. There will also be takeout available.

St. Mary’s Church is holding a take-out winter soup sale. You can choose from winter garden (a creamy soup with cauliflower, broccoli and carrots), chicken noodle, beef barley, ham and navy bean or cabbage and noodles. The available soups are sold by the quart.

Orders and payments can be mailed to the church, 122 Union St., Catasauqua, 18032, and are due no later than Feb. 17.

Pickup will be 4-6:30 p.m. March 1 in the parish kitchen, across from the church.

There will be a cash bingo and basket raffle 1-4 p.m. March 2 at Slovak Center Social Club, 1233 Fifth St., North Catasauqua.

The event will benefit Dave Kline, the owner of Kline’s Auto Service, who is battling cancer, and will include lunch.
