A dance, a dodgeball tournament and a senior class photo are among activities in February at Emmaus High School.

The annual Snow Dance will be held 7 p.m. Feb. 2 at EHS. Tickets can be purchased during school lunch periods.

The senior class photo will take place during period 1 Feb. 5.

Feb. 8 is now a full day of school for EHS students.

Spring sports physicals are scheduled Feb. 13 and sports team registrations also will be held.

Track and field and boys volleyball sign-ups will be Feb. 5 after school in EHS Cafeteria 1.

Softball sign-ups will be 5-6 p.m. Feb. 6 in EHS Cafeteria 1.

Boys lacrosse sign-ups will be Feb. 6 after school in EHS Room 577.

Girls lacrosse sign-ups will begin 2:45 p.m. Feb. 11 in EHS Room 578.

The health and wellness fitness club’s eighth annual dodgeball tournament will be held 6 to 9 p.m. Feb. 28 in the main and auxiliary gyms. If you are interested in playing, see a health or wellness fitness teacher to register. All paperwork must be submitted by Feb. 7.

EHS Broadway Night will be 7 to 9 p.m. Feb. 15 in the EHS auditorium.

Girl Up, a new club at EHS, helps spread awareness to help girls in underdeveloped countries with their education, health and safety. Meetings are held in Room 360.

Students should save the dates for the following events:

May 3 for the EHS senior ball at The Palace Center, 623 Hanover Ave., Allentown.

May 11 for the EHS junior prom at Homewood Suites, 3350 Center Valley Parkway, Center Valley.

Registration is currently open for anyone taking an Advanced Placement course who wishes to take an AP exam. All students must register and pay for each exam in the counseling office. The cost of each exam is $94. Payment is by cash or check, made payable to EHS and is due at the time of registration. A single check for the total amount will be accepted. If a student’s family is experiencing financial hardship, such as qualifying for free/reduced lunch, a student is encouraged to speak with their counselor. The registration deadline is March 1 at the end of the school day.

Regional History Day will be held March 23 at Muhlenberg College, Allentown.

The next Model United Nations meeting will be 2:30 to 3 p.m. Jan. 30 in Room 531. Students should attend to discuss resolutions and get their permission slips for the competition in March.

The January Interact Club meeting will be held 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Jan. 31 in the EHS cafeteria. Dinner will be provided. RSVP if planning to attend.
