An unknown person entered a home in Waldheim Park in the 10 block of Third Avenue, which was reported 11:50 a.m. Jan. 11. It is unknown if anything was taken.

A 23-year-old male, of Whitehall, was charged with suspicion of driving while under the influence, 3 a.m. Jan. 12, following a traffic stop. He was taken to Central Booking for processing.

A 26-year-old male, of Bethlehem, was charged with suspicion of driving while under the influence, 2:15 a.m. Jan. 13, following a traffic stop along Seidersville Road. He was taken to Central Booking for processing.

Anthony Quinones, 24, of Reading, was charged with alleged false information to law enforcement and various traffic violations following a stop in the 3000 block of South Pike Avenue 7:16 p.m. Jan. 11. He was taken to Central Booking for processing.

A resident in the 1600 block of Rader Avenue reported 2:20 p.m. Jan. 15, receiving a call from someone who said they were from PPL. The caller said the resident owed money which needed to be paid or they would shut off the electric service to the home. The resident was instructed to purchase prepaid cards in the amount of $490 and give the caller the card numbers. The resident complied with the request.

Police received a call from a resident in the 1000 block of Tweed Avenue 1:40 p.m. Jan. 15, who said there was a male hunter behind the home with a rifle. Police were unable to locate the man.

Police responded to a holdup alarm 4:23 a.m. Jan. 11 in the 3300 block of Lehigh Street.

Police responded to a burglar alarm 9:42 a.m. Jan. 11 in the 1800 block of Greenwood Road.

Police responded to a burglar alarm 10 p.m. Jan. 12 in the 2200 block of Nottingham Road.

Police responded to a burglar alarm 3:53 p.m. Jan. 14 in the 2500 block of Green Acres Drive.

Police responded to a burglar alarm 7:05 a.m. Jan. 16 in the 3100 block of Berger Street.

Police responded to an alarm 4:21 a.m. Jan. 16 in the 1600 block of 33rd Street.
