Nicole Ann Stauffer, 41, of Macungie, allegedly attempted to remove $199.21 worth of merchandise from Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 6:24 p.m. Dec. 28, 2018, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Susan Marie Hunsicker, 38, of Allentown, was taken into custody for alleged retail theft after Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville were contacted regarding a retail theft at Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 5:44 p.m. Dec. 22, 2018. Hunsicker allegedly was apprehended later, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A 38-year-old female, of Emmaus, is accused of under-ringing various items at Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 4:52 p.m. Dec. 24, 2018. The total loss was $61.19.
An unknown person attempted to steal two Samsung LED televisions, one 55-inch and one 60-inch, from Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 8:18 p.m. Dec. 20, 2018. A trooper from Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville, who was already at the store and loss prevention personnel made contact with the suspect who was seen wearing a Walmart vest. The suspect dropped the televisions and fled on foot, according to police.
Stephanie Lynn Brickley, 33, of Wescosville, was taken into custody for suspicion of driving under the influence of a controlled substance and related charges after a traffic stop along Hamilton Boulevard at Brookside Road, Lower Macungie Township, 6:50 p.m. Dec. 3, 2018, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Angelos Panagopoulos, 40, of Allentown, was taken into custody for suspicion of driving under the influence after a two-vehicle accident in the 5300 block of Townsquare Drive, Lower Macungie Township, 12:55 p.m. Nov. 28, 2018, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Gisela Ivette Stout, 46, of Fleetwood, was taken into custody for suspicion of driving under the influence after a traffic stop on Cotton and Arch streets, Macungie borough, 12:23 a.m. Nov. 25, 2018, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Shaolin Aneesa Muhammad, 22, of Allentown, allegedly was in possession of a small amount of marijuana at a DUI checkpoint at Wild Cherry Lane and Lower Macungie Road, Lower Macungie Township, 11:50 p.m. Dec. 8, 2018, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
An unknown person smashed a front passenger side vehicle window and removed a purse containing miscellaneous credit cards from a vehicle at Excape Hair Design Studio, 4959 Hamilton Blvd., Lower Macungie Township, between 3:30 and 4:35 p.m. Dec. 18, 2018. A 53-year-old male, of Pennsburg, was hurt when his sport utility vehicle overturned in a single vehicle accident on Kings Highway South, Lower Milford Township, 6:38 a.m. Dec. 28, 2018.
According to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville, the driver was traveling northbound on Kings Highway South, in the right lane of travel, just south of Milky Way, when he lost control of his 2004 Dodge Durango on the wet roadway, exited the road and struck an embankment. The vehicle abruptly veered back onto the road causing the vehicle to overturn.
The driver sustained a laceration to his head and was transported by Upper Perkiomen Valley EMS to St. Luke’s Hospital, Quarkertown.
Mechanics Plus and Lower Milford Fire Department also responded.
A 38-year-old male, of Macungie, was hurt when the sport utility vehicle he was driving flipped onto its roof in a one-vehicle accident on Kings Highway South, just south of Janes Lane, Lower Milford Township, 8:06 a.m. Dec. 31, 2018, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
The driver was traveling in the right southbound lane of Kings Highway. While negotiating a right curve in the road, the vehicle traveled across black ice in the road and the driver lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle continued off the right shoulder of the road and struck a utility pole and overturned, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
The driver sustained minor injuries to his head, wrist and back, according to police.
The driver was transported by Upper Perkiomen EMS to Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest Boulevard.
The vehicle was towed by Mechanics Plus.
A 31-year-old female, of Lower Macungie Township, was taken into custody on an active arrest warrant after Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville responded to a dog complaint along Brighton Court, Lower Macungie Township, 8:14 p.m. Dec. 18, 2018. Upon further investigation by state police it was discovered the female was wanted in Warren County, N.J., for assault. She was taken into custody without incident, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A Lower Macungie Township resident contacted Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville to report speaking with PayPal on the telephone to inquire about a recent transaction Dec. 22, 2018. The resident had retrieved an unsafe phone number from the Internet not associated with the online payment system, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The person the Lower Macungie Township resident was speaking to on the phone told the resident to send photographs of $4,000 worth of gift cards, which the resident did.
A Lower Macungie Township resident contacted Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville to report receiving an email from a person she thought to be the CEO of her company who told her to purchase $400 worth of iTunes gift cards, which the resident did and to send photographs of the gift cards, which the resident also did Dec. 21, 2018.
A 52-year-old resident, of the 5000 block of Upper Milford Township, reported being approached to engage in secret shopping for various department stores, Nov. 27, 2018. The resident received money orders in the mail and discovered the money orders were fraudulent. The resident had made $3,000 in gift card purchases. A 46-year-old female reported her wallet was stolen at Walgreens 6379 Hamilton Blvd., Lower Macungie Township, 1:30 p.m. Dec. 19, 2018. Credit cards from the wallet were used to make purchases elsewhere, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A 24-year-old female, of Muhlenburg, reported her wallet was taken from the Wescosville Post Office, 1115 Brookside Road, Lower Macungie Township, 4:15 p.m. Dec. 13, 2018, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
An unknown person removed a phone from a purse at 6900 Hamilton Blvd., Lower Macungie Township, between 12:30 and 1 p.m. Dec. 23, 2018.
A resident in the 5000 block of Schultz Bridge Road, Lower Milford Township, reported a stolen checkbook 3:30 p.m. Dec. 20, 2018, to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
