Hokendauqua: Volunteers needed for survey process of significant buildings

According to the winter 2019 township newsletter, Whitehall Township is “applying for a state grant that will allow [the township] to survey all of the significant buildings in the (Hokendauqua) area.”

In the proposed historic district, there are 170 properties. About 70 percent of them maintain significance and must be surveyed individually. The survey process is starting and must be finished by the end of March.

If you would like to help in this process, contact Howard Lieberman at howard@bcfsol.com. A list of volunteers will be created for a training session.
