Mark Donald Mackenzie, 56, of Bath, allegedly attempted to purchase a firearm at Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 2:50 p.m. April 12, 2018 and was denied through the Pennsylvania Instant Check System. An investigation by Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville, determined Mackenzie allegedly falsified the sale or transfer of firearm form during the transaction.
Elizabeth Herrera, 36, of Allentown and a 17-year-old youth were placed under arrest for retail theft after they allegedly failed to scan miscellaneous items totaling $846.10 at a self-checkout register at Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 5:39 p.m. Dec. 15, 2018, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. Herrera and the teen were transported to Lehigh County Central Booking Center, according to police.
Patricia Leeann Weston, 40, of Kutztown, was placed under arrest for retail theft after she allegedly failed to scan or altered tags of miscellaneous merchandise totaling $263.45 at a self-checkout register at Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 1:48 p.m. Dec. 18, 2018, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. She was transported to the Lehigh County Central Booking Center, according to police.
An 18-year-old female, of Macungie, was taken into custody on fraud and theft charges after she stole money from Wawa, 3321 Willow Lane, Lower Macungie Township, between Sept. 7 and Dec. 5, 2018. According to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville, troopers responded to the store for a report of an employee stealing money. Police found the suspect had been conducting transactions through a cash register and loading funds onto a gift card, which was then accessed through a Wawa cellphone application.
A 17-year-old male, of Bethlehem, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic accident at Limeport Pike and Elementary Road, Lower Milford Township, 5:45 p.m. Nov. 22, 2018. Charges were filed through Lehigh County Juvenile Probation, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A 19-year-old female, of Macungie, was taken into custody and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after a traffic stop along Lower Macungie Road, east of Bogie Avenue, Lower Macungie Township, 2:48 a.m. Nov. 29, 2018, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A 58-year-old male,, of Macungie, allegedly was found to be driving under the influence of alcohol in a sobriety checkpoint at Lower Macungie Road and Wild Cherry Lane, Lower Macungie Township, 12:10 a.m. Dec. 9, 2018.
Elizabeth Theresa Munilla, 34, of Allentown, is charged with alleged public drunkenness after police responded to BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse, 665 N. Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, 1:36 p.m. Dec. 19, 2018, on a complaint of an intoxicated patron creating a disturbance inside and outside of the restaurant, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Adam Gabriel Wills, 25, of Reading, is charged with alleged disorderly conduct after Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville responded to Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 10:52 p.m. Dec. 20, 2018, for a report of an adult male allegedly entering and exiting the store and urinating on the exterior of the building, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
An unknown person entered a vehicle in the 4300 block of Windfield Street, Upper Milford Township, 2:18 p.m. Dec. 2, 2018, and removed prescription medication from the vehicle.
Two unknown people entered the Indian Creek Storage Warehouse, 5070 Indian Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 8:17 a.m. Nov. 23, 2018, by forcing entry through a metal fence surrounding the business. The pair then forced entry into 13 storage units by breaking the locks on the doors of the units. Surveillance video showed the two burglars leaving the storage facility carrying two boxes containing unknown items.
An unknown person illegally obtained the bank account information of a resident of the 3400 block of Bleiler Road, Upper Milford Township and made fraudulent transactions 4 p.m. Dec. 14, 2018, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Kate Major Lohan, 36, of Boca Raton, Fla., is suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol and/or a controlled substance, harassment, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness after allegedly attacking a charter bus driver at 4440 Hamilton Blvd., Lower Macungie Township, 5:12 p.m. Dec. 25, 2018. According to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville, Lohan also allegedly attempted to operate an occupied charter bus by getting in the driver seat but was removed by a passenger on the bus.
