No Place for Hate will hold a meeting 7-7:20 a.m. Jan. 3 in Room 409.
The counseling office is excited to offer seniors the opportunity to participate in an Instant Decision Day with Moravian College Jan. 4. as part of the college application process. Interested students should sign up in the counseling office.
An important freshmen class meeting is scheduled for Jan. 7 during period 2 in the auditorium. Topics being discussed are midterm exams and course scheduling for next year.
Student Government Association will hold a blood drive for the Miller-Keystone Blood Center 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Jan. 8. If you would like to donate, email Mrs. Montero or stop by Room 537 to schedule your donation time.
The next Gay Straight Alliance meeting will be held after school Jan. 15 in Room 360. New members are always welcome to attend.
The Emmaus Arts Commission is looking for student photographers to participate in this year’s photo contest. Winners receive cash and prizes and there is a separate category just for students. Submissions are due by Jan. 25 at Emmaus Borough Hall. The contest is open now and submitted photos will be on display to the public during the SnowBlast Winter Arts Festival Feb 2. Habitat for Humanity will host a Flapjack Fundraiser at Applebee’s on Cedar Crest Boulevard 8-10 a.m. Jan. 26. Tickets are available from any club member or Miss Russo in Room 513.
