An unknown person made entry through a chain link fence at a residence in the 1700 block of Minesite Road, Lower Macungie Township, 11:49 a.m. Nov. 13 and forced entry into two sheds and a garage. The person removed multiple hand tools, power tools and miscellaneous items valued at approximately $15,500. The actor is believed to have put the stolen items in a large recycling container, which had wheels and belonged to the resident of the home to remove the items, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Three people were hurt when the vehicle in which they were riding struck a tree and rolled onto its roof along Chestnut Hill Church Road, Lower Milford Township, 2:44 p.m. Dec. 5.
According to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville, a 1987 Ford Thunderbird was in the southbound lane when the vehicle began to spin counter clockwise and crossed into the northbound lane where it struck a Ford Explorer headed north. The car hit the SUV after striking a tree, according to police. The car became airborne before falling onto its roof and blocking the north and southbound lanes. The driver of the car, a 17-year-old male, of Coopersburg and his three passengers, an 18-year-old male, a 17-year-old male and a 16-year-old male were transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The driver of the SUV was not injured, according to police.
Both vehicles were towed by Mechanics Plus Towing.
Lower Milford, East Greenville and Coopersburg fire departments and Macungie, Upper Perkiomen and Emmaus EMS crews also responded, police said.
Jaime Jesus Villalba, 46, of Emmaus, was taken into custody for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol after a traffic stop on Lower Macungie Road at Wild Cherry Lane, Lower Macungie Township, 12:03 a.m. Oct. 18, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
An unknown person removed a silver Dodge Avenger from a driveway in the 5600 block of North Walnut Street, Lower Macungie Township, 7 a.m. Nov. 11, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The vehicle was left running to warm up and was driven away from the residence in a direction toward Macungie borough.
An unknown person removed a dealer vehicle registration plate from Ciocca Subaru, 4611 Hamilton Blvd., Lower Macungie Township, between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Nov. 12, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
An unknown person removed money from an ATM after a woman, of Easton, left the money in the ATM at Wawa, 4900 Hamilton Blvd., Lower Macungie Township, 1:15 p.m. Nov. 14. According to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville, the woman withdrew money from the ATM, forgot to take the money and went to the checkout to make a purchase. While at the checkout, the woman noticed she did not have her money, returned to the ATM and found the money was gone, according to police.
A resident of Lower Macungie Township reported she was searching the Internet for insurance and called the number on the insurer’s website. She lost phone reception with the initial call but immediately received a return call. She was asked personal information about her computer and agreed to allow the caller to take over her computer remotely. She watched the caller control her computer and enter account information into BIT-Coin. She could not stop the user so she shut off the computer and contacted Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
