A resident responded to a person on Twitter who offered a Domino’s pizza deal - give the person $10 and receive $50 worth of pizza using a cash app. The resident made the transfer of cash, placed an order at Dominos, 695 State Road, Emmaus and received the order valued at $50. A representative of Domino’s determined the person who paid $50 for the order used a credit card belonging to a woman in Texas and alerted police 3:09 p.m. Dec. 6. Police are investigating.

A 29-year-old female patient at Lehigh Valley Health Network - Cedar Crest, received a call from someone who said they were with the Internal Revenue Service. The caller said the female owed $2,000 and they would accept $3,000 in gift cards as payment for her to avoid arrest. The female purchased Apple cards in the amount of $1,500 and Walmart cards in the amount of $1,500 and gave the caller the card numbers. The incident was reported to police 9:01 p.m. Dec. 7.

A resident in the 3000 block of Saucon Avenue reported 10:23 a.m. Dec. 7, an unknown person used the resident’s credit card to purchase high-end clothing in Europe which was sent to a DHL location for pickup.

A driver for Penn Pizza, 1251 S. Cedar Crest Blvd., returned to his personal vehicle 5:25 p.m. Dec. 6 and found a personal bank bag containing $400 and a checkbook missing. The driver said the car was left unlocked.

A student at Arts Academy Charter Middle School, 1610 E. Emmaus Ave., reported 3 p.m. Dec. 7, a boyfriend took video of her without her authorization. Police are investigating.

Police were dispatched to Asia restaurant, 1102 E. Susquehanna St., 11:11 p.m. Dec. 7 as the result of a 911 call. The caller said he was shot in the chest at the restaurant. When police arrived there was no evidence of a shooting and the phone number of caller was disconnected.

Frank Dealba-Espada, 31, of Allentown, was charged with suspicion of driving under the influence, 2:36 a.m. Dec. 18 following a hit-and-run accident at the intersection of Broadway and Emmaus Avenue. Dealba-Espada allegedly fled the accident scene in a black Mazda truck which was found by another officer at the intersection of Church Road and Emmaus Avenue. He was taken to Central Booking for processing.

Police were called to the 1500 block of Church Road 10:47 a.m. Dec. 8 for the report of a loose dog.

A resident in the 800 block of South Main Street reported 2:36 p.m. Dec. 9, an unknown person damaged a vehicle on the property by keying the driver’s side.

An unknown person removed a Cadillac emblem from a vehicle parked at the Lehigh Valley Health Network - Cedar Crest, 5:05 p.m. Dec. 11.

A resident in the 1700 block of 33rd Street reported 7:05 p.m. Dec. 10, an unknown person pried open a back door and took a Surface Pro computer valued at $800 and miscellaneous jewelry valued at $5,000.

A 35-year-old woman, of Catasauqua, was charged with alleged possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop along Fairview Road 10:53 p.m. Dec. 11. She was taken to Central Booking for processing.

Police responded to a blood irradiator alarm 12:15 p.m. Dec. 7 in the 1200 block of South Cedar Crest Boulevard.
