Favorite subject: My favorite subject is chemistry because I enjoy doing labs in the classroom with my peers and learning difficult concepts through hands-on activities.

Activities: FHS girls tennis, Holi Dance program, National Honors Society, Future Business Leaders of America

Next steps: I plan to go to college and obtain a degree in biochemistry or biology. Hopefully this will allow me to follow the correct route in the process toward medical school.

Career goals: As of now I am unsure of my ideal career; however, I aspire to work in the medical field, maybe specializing in a field such as oncology or pediatrics.

Heroes: Though I look up to renowned historical figures, the most important person I look up to in life is my dad. He embodies the ideals of commitment, resilience, perseverance and hard work, which I also consistently work toward.

Hobbies: Playing tennis, traveling

Volunteer/community work: Horizons for Youth at Northampton Community College; St. Luke’s Hospital in the pharmacy, ambulatory surgical center and volunteer escorts service

Likes: Biology, chemistry, calculus

Dislikes: History, writing essays

Greatest accomplishment (so far): Holding the #1 rank in my school thus far

Advice for peers: Failure is inevitable, so it isn’t about how hard you fall, it’s about how quick the recovery is.
