LYNN TOWNSHIP: Santa Claus is coming to town

New Tripoli volunteer firefighters will be aiding Santa Dec. 22 as he makes his annual run through the community.

Santa will be at the fire station at noon to visit with youngsters. He will take off from the fire station atop a firetruck starting around 1 p.m.

To have Santa deliver a personal gift to a child, deliver it to the fire station by Dec. 17. Firefighters will be there 6:30-8:30 p.m. Monday.

Make sure the child’s name and address are on the gift.

Ebenezer UCC, New Tripoli, is selling homemade holiday candy (peanut butter balls, coconut cream balls, snowballs, peanut clusters, peppermint bark and sweet-n-salty) 9 a.m. to noon on Sundays while supplies last.

The hanging of the greens service will take place 10:15 a.m. Dec. 16.

Christmas communion service will be 10:15 a.m. Dec. 23 and the Christmas Eve candlelight service is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Dec. 24.

The church is offering afterschool homework help. The program provides tutoring, homework help, materials and resources for projects.

Ebenezer’s Clothing Closet will be open from 6-8 p.m. Dec. 13; and from 10 a.m. to noon Dec. 15.
