Carlos Daniel Herrera-Cordova, 23, of Bronx, N.Y., was taken into custody for retail theft after an employee at Kohl’s department store, 6900 Hamilton Blvd., Lower Macungie Township, observed him allegedly exiting the store with a black winter coat without paying for the item 5 p.m. Nov. 23, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. While in custody, Herrera-Cordova allegedly provided false identification to law enforcement authorities, according to state police.

A 22-year-old female, of Allentown and an 18-year-old female, also of Allentown, were taken into custody after they attempted to remove merchandise valued at $518.35 by underringing items at Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 10:03 p.m. Nov. 29, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Elizabeth Ann Mancini, 40, of Coopersburg, allegedly was found to be driving under the influence after a two-vehicle traffic accident at Limeport Pike and Steinsburg Road, Lower Macungie Township, 8:55 p.m. Oct. 20, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. Mancini allegedly crossed over the double yellow line into the path of another vehicle and the vehicles collided.

Justice Devlin Hoffman, 23, of Allentown, was taken into custody for allegedly driving under the influence, recklessly endangering and resisting arrest after he was stopped by Pennsylvania State Police along Cedar Crest Boulevard at Riverbend Road, Lower Macungie Township, 2:41 a.m. Nov. 15. According to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville, Hoffman allegedly ran in front of two tractor trailers and laid on the ground. He then allegedly actively resisted arrest, according to police. Hoffman was transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest and later to the Lehigh County Central Booking Center, according to police.

A person gave $1,000 in fraudulent U.S. currency in exchange for a crossbow to a resident of the 2200 block of Burgundy Drive, Lower Macungie Township, 2:57 p.m. Oct. 27 at the residence.

A 42-year-old driver, of Mertztown, was slightly hurt when his 2004 Chevrolet Colorado pickup truck overturned in a ditch on Mountain Road, Lower Macungie Township, 8:35 a.m. Nov. 11, closing the road for approximately an hour.

According to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville, the driver was on Mountain Road, just south of Schoeneck Road when the vehicle started up an incline. The rear of the truck went off the right side of the road and overturned when the driver tried to regain control of the vehicle. The driver refused medical transport at the scene. Alburtis Fire Company, Emmaus Ambulance and Hauser Towing also responded.

An unknown person smashed the side windows of three vehicles parked at Movie Tavern, 6150 Hamilton Blvd., Lower Macungie Township between 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. Nov. 21. An unknown person egged a residence along Manzanita Drive, Lower Macungie Township, 2:40 p.m. Nov. 23 and damaged a window screen.

A 16-year-old male, of South Mountain Road, Upper Milford Township; a 17-year-old male, of Canterbury Drive, Upper Milford Township; a 17-year-old male, of Wayside Drive, Lower Macungie Township; and a 17-year-old male, of Bordeaux Drive, Lower Macungie Township, egged a home on Carmel Drive, Lower Macungie Township, 8:53 p.m. Nov. 23, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. A resident of the home followed the teens when they left the area and got the registration plate of the vehicle they used. The teens were identified, interviewed and confessed to egging the home. They apologized to the residents of the home and cleaned/power washed the home.

A 30-year-old male, of the 2000 block of Brook Circle, Lower Macungie Township, reported to police he received a letter from the Internal Revenue Service stating his Social Security number was used by an unknown person to obtain employment. The Lower Macungie Township resident told police there were no charges toward his credit regarding fraud. The incident was reported Nov. 9.

A 22-year-old female, of Emmaus, was found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop at the intersection of Harrison and Turner streets in Emmaus borough, 2:30 a.m. Nov. 17, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A Pottsville man, no age given, was found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop at the intersection of Hamilton Boulevard and Cedarbrook Road, Lower Macungie Township, 12:59 a.m. Dec. 4, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
