Mike Yellak of Greenawalds Avenue, South Whitehall Township, kicked off his second annual Lights in Greenawalds show on Nov. 25 with thousands of Christmas lights and displays to provide Christmas cheer to Lehigh Valley residents.

The upgrades were huge with more than 10 new display scenes, and an upgraded concession barn.

Visitors experiences a warm, cozy feeling as they walk through the archway of lights.

Santa Claus made a grand entrance and photos could be taken with the Jolly Ol’ Elf.

The Grinch also made a return visit.

Thousands upon thousands of lights, 16 display scenes, many animated LED light displays welcomed visitors.

Huge archways welcomed them inside and 12-foot tall light show trees are an added addition.

The cool-white theme this year fills the sky with such a glow.

There is music from 5-9:30 p.m. every night - from the traditional music to “Home Alone” soundtrack to Trans-Siberian Orchestra.

In the back, 28 pine trees are covered in lights and a snow theme is in the front of the display as a big “Let it Snow” sign is surrounded by snowflakes of all different shapes and sizes.

All together, there are more than 100,000 lights, which took eight weeks to set up.

There is free hot chocolate, popcorn, and more in the concession shed.
