ALLENTOWN

Allentown Public Library is offering an appetizing cookbook called “What’s Cooking at the Library: 100 Years of Good Taste.”

The centennial cookbook is priced to sell. For an additional fee, purchase a navy blue canvas book bag to go with the cookbook.

The holiday deal is running through Dec. 29 at the library’s front desk.

The spiral-bound contains 344 recipes contributed by more than 30 library employees and families.

There also is an eclectic mix of handed-down family recipes, modern dishes and tried-and-true favorites, including German potato salad, chicken divan. pork barbecue and Moravian sugar cake.

All proceeds benefit the library.
