Catasauqua: Christmas burlesque show scheduled for Dec. 15

Mistletoe Nights: Who’s Naughty or Nice? burlesque show is set for 8-11 p.m. Dec. 15 at the Gas House Dance Hall, 311 Front St.

There is a cost. Bring a food donation for Manna on Main and receive a free gift.

The troupe consists of Miss China Doll, the Guinness record holder for largest fan dance; host and performer Geo; Ms. Sassy Chassis; and Diamond D’Light. Joining the group from Crufeli Sideshow and Circus Arts is Kiki Crufeli and Scorpino. Lehigh Valley comedian Tyler Rothrock will perform as well.

The Catty Club, 226 Pine St., will be having its next all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet 9 a.m.-noon Dec. 16.

There will be eggs Benedict, make-your-own omelets, sausage, bacon, scrapple, scrambled eggs, potatoes, crepes, sausage gravy, French toast and beverages.

Suburban Family North YMCA, 880 Walnut St., is opening a new full-day preschool child care program starting in January 2019.

This program will be for children ages 3 to 5 and will be held 6:30 a.m.-6 p.m. at the YMCA. Children must be potty trained. The focus will be on the cognitive, social and physical development of the child. Daily activities will include outdoor and indoor playtime, arts and crafts and story time.

Catasauqua Community Thrift Shop, 113 Bridge St., will have a 50-percent sale on all Christmas items Dec. 17-22.

Donations of used and clean clothing are gratefully accepted during store operation hours: 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesdays and Saturdays. Proceeds from the thrift shop are returned to the community through contributions that support youth and adult programs and services.
