Bianca Baab
Grade: 12th
Family members: My family members include my mom, Sheila, my brother, Tyler, my dad, Dave, and my grandparents, Donna and John.
Favorite subject(s): My favorite subject is English. This has always been my favorite subject because I have always enjoyed reading.
Activities: In my school, I am involved in National Honor Society and Student Council at the moment. Currently, I am the treasure of National Honor Society at my school. I have been involved in NHS for two years now. In the past, I have started a DECA club at my school. I started this business club in 10th grade with my classmate and was involved as an actively participating member in 11th grade.
Next steps (after high school): I plan to attend a four-year college and major in early education.
Career goals: I plan to be an elementary school teacher.
Heroes: My hero is my mother, Sheila. She is my hero or who I look up to since she embodies everything I want to be. For example, she is a successful elementary school teacher in ethe Easton area school district.
Hobbies: My hobbies include art. Even though I am not good at it I enjoy painting in my free time.
Volunteer/community work: I have done many volunteer opportunities. Such as in the summer of ninth grade I helped with a kindergarten class in the summer, helped at elementary school events, and helped tutor elementary students. In eleventh grade, I helped at ArtsQuest in events like Peepsfest or Christkindlmarket and volunteered about 60 hours there. In my senior year, I volunteered at Celtic Classic with my National Honor Society group.
Likes: I like psychology and helping others.
Dislikes: I dislike when people wait for an opportunity and then complain that they did not get the opportunity.
Greatest accomplishment (so far): My greatest accomplishment was getting accepted into NHS. This was my greatest accomplishment since I was always taught to value education.
Advice for peers: Have fun in high school! It sounds cliche, but once you’re in high school the four years go by quick, and you’ll be a senior before you know it.
