A 32-year-old male, of Kutztown, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia following a call at Lehigh Valley Health Network - Cedar Crest 9:56 a.m. Nov. 15. He was taken to Central Booking for processing.

Martin Dawson, 35, of Bethlehem, was charged with resisting arrest, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia following an alleged incident along Alder Lane and Church Road 7:56 p.m. Nov. 23. Dawson’s vehicle was allegedly in the middle of the road and not moving. An officer was injured in an alleged struggle. Dawson was taken to Central Booking for processing.

A resident in the 200 block of Mountain Park Road reported receiving a call from someone saying they were from the sheriff’s office with a warrant for the resident’s arrest 12:10 p.m. Nov. 16. The caller demanded $500.

A resident in the 1800 block of Sherwood Circle reported receiving a call 12:50 p.m. Nov. 18 demanding $2,000 be sent to Bitcom within 49 hours. The resident did not comply.

A resident in the 1700 block of Acker Street reported receiving a package which was not ordered 11:41 a.m. Nov. 21. The resident has also been receiving many phone call scams.

Beran Mitchell, 22, of Allentown, was charged with failure to drive within a marked lane, stop sign violation and driving in the wrong lane following an alleged traffic stop at the intersection of East Emmaus Avenue andSeidersville Road 2:33 a.m. Nov. 18. Mitchell was taken to Central Booking for processing.

A 2005 gray Audi was removed from a Vinart Body Shop in the 3100 block of Berger Street 11 a.m. Nov. 19. The theft is under investigation.

Robert Gallagher, 54, of Hazleton, was charged with public drunkenness and disorderly conduct at a business in the 1200 block of South Cedar Crest Boulevard 2:45 p.m. Nov. 19 following an alleged incident.

A student at Salisbury High School was reported to have a knife while on school property 11 a.m. Nov. 21. The student faces school consequences and has been referred to the Community Justice Panel.
