Join Whitehall Township Public Library 7 p.m. Dec. 6 for some holiday music! The barbershop quartet, ffourtissimo, will be at the library with songs of the season and some oldies, too!

If you enjoy a cappella music, come and enjoy this quartet as they deliver fun renditions of classic holiday songs as well as some newer tunes.

The library will be closing 5 p.m. Dec. 7 because of a staff Christmas party.

Holiday and family story and craft times will be held 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. Dec. 12 and 19.

Kids will hear stories and do a holiday craft.

The program is open to kids of all ages. No registration is required.

The library will accept Toys for Tots donations through Dec. 15.

Please donate new, unopened and unwrapped toys.

Toys for Tots won’t distribute any gifts that look like realistic weapons or any food.

The third Monday open mic and jam will be held 6:30 p.m. Dec. 17.

Entertainers interested in performing three songs or a 15-minute set are asked to sign up before 6:30 p.m.

Musicians, singers, poets, comedians, actors, writers and storytellers are invited to come show off your stuff, or just come and be part of the audience!

The third Tuesday movie night will be held 6 p.m. Dec. 18 in the library community room. This month’s selection will be Disney-Pixar’s “Incredibles 2.”

The library will be closed Dec. 24 and 25 for the Christmas holiday.

It will also close 1 p.m. Dec. 31 and will be closed all day Jan. 1, 2019.

You can buy a heavy-duty WTPL ice scraper at the front desk. They are available in black, red and blue and make great stocking stuffers.

Also, purchase your WTPL pocket- and purse-size 2019 calendars.

A reminder that beginning Jan. 2, 2019, the library will have new hours. We will be open 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

We will have handouts and magnets with our new hours. Stop by and pick one up!
