The borough’s annual community tree lighting program, hosted by Coplay Recreation & Welfare Association, is set for 6:30 p.m. Dec. 6 at the borough hall, 98 S. Fourth St.

Coplay Fire Department will deliver Santa on a fire engine to meet with the children.

Lori and James will present holiday-inspired entertainment program inside borough hall.

The third annual O Come All Ye Faithful Social Call Christmas party will be held Dec. 7 at the American Club of Coplay pavilion, 300 Cherry St.

Doors open 4:45 p.m., and the kitchen opens 5 p.m. Social Call will play 7-10 p.m.

It is open to the public. Proceeds go toward Coplay’s Community Plaza, Second and Chestnut streets.

Coplay Borough Council meets 7 p.m. Dec. 11 in council chambers at borough hall. The meeting is open to the public.

Coplay Public Library, 49 S. Fifth St., will have an open house 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Dec. 15.

The free movies shown at this time will be “A Charlie Brown Christmas,” starting 11 a.m., and “Star Wars: The Last Jedi,” starting 1 p.m.

Light refreshments will be served.
