Coplay Garden Club meets 7 p.m. Nov. 29 in the social hall of St. John’s Lutheran Church, 18 S. Third St.
The public is invited.

The third annual O Come All Ye Faithful Social Call Christmas party will be held Dec. 7 at the American Club of Coplay pavilion, 300 Cherry St.
Doors open 4:45 p.m., and the kitchen opens 5 p.m. Social Call will play 7-10 p.m.
It is open to the public. Tickets can be purchased at Samuel Owens Restaurant, The Bacon Strip, Reph’s Complete Auto, A Buzz and Beyond or the borough office.
Proceeds go toward Coplay’s Community Plaza, Second and Chestnut streets.

Borough public works personnel will continue picking up leaves and yard waste as December rolls in.
Residents are reminded not to sweep or blow the leaves into the streets or gutters since the borough will not pick them up unless in the proper containers. Leaves clog up the stormwater inlets when blown into the streets.

The borough’s 150th anniversary committee has set April 6, 2019, for the opening banquet at the American Club of Coplay pavilion.
Coplay Public Library is collecting memorabilia and historical artifacts for display throughout 2019. All items will be returned to the owners after celebrations.
