Each year, Dr. Aejaaz A. Issa and his staff at Ai Orthodontics, 550 Harrison St., Emmaus, delivers pumpkins to referring dentist offices and asks them to creatively decorate the pumpkins for the children at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest.

To make it fun, Issa holds a contest where community judges, staff and patients vote for their favorites.

The results are in. The winners of the 2018 Funny Fall Faces Pumpkin Competition, announced Nov. 12, get bragging rights until next year.

The live judge’s winners are:

First Place - Dr. Eric Marsh’s office with their Mr. Creepy pumpkin

Second Place - Quakertown Family Dental with their Tin Man pumpkin

Third Place - Dr. Julie Hong’s office with their Power Puffy Girls pumpkins

Fourth Place - Drs. George and Mark Shoenberger’s office with their Absolutely Incredible Jack-Jack pumpkin

The Facebook Voting winners are:

First Place - Quakertown Family Dental’s Tin Man pumpkin

Second Place - Dr. Sophia Kladias’ office with their Halloween Cat pumpkin

Third Place - Mountainville Dental’s Becky Blowfish pumpkin

Fourth Place - Enhanced Dental Arts’ Ollie the Owl pumpkin

The Ai Orthodontics office choice pumpkin winner is Dr. Timothy Wright’s office with their Boiling Witch pumpkin.

As always, the real winners of the contest were the children at the hospital who were given the decorated pumpkins.

Ai Orthodontics offered congratulations to all of the winners and a very sincere thank you to all of their fellow colleagues who participated in the annual event.
