Fullerton: Flapjack fundraiser planned

St. Elizabeth Regional School, 433 Pershing Blvd., will hold a flapjack fundraiser 8-10 a.m. Nov. 24. The breakfast will be held at Applebee’s, 3730 Nazareth Pike, Bethlehem.

Tickets are available at the school or parish office. Call 610-266-0695.

Also, St. Elizabeth Regional School’s Home & School Association is looking for someone to play Santa at the annual Christmas carnival 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Dec. 1.

No experience is necessary, but you must be jolly and have your background clearances. The school can help with the clearance paperwork.

St. John’s United Church of Christ, 575 Grape St., will be having a craft and vendor fair 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Dec. 1.

Come on out for some great bargains and holiday gifts.

The Golden Agers of St. Elizabeth’s is now selling tickets to the Dec. 7 Christmas party.

Tickets may be purchased until Nov. 29 by calling Maria Sweeney at 610-432-7562.

The Golden Agers group is also planning a trip Dec. 13 to see “First Noel” at the American Music Theater in Lancaster. The trip includes lunch at Shady Maple.

The bus leaves the church parking lot 10 a.m. Lunch is 11:30 a.m., and show time is 3 p.m. The bus will leave for home after the show, around 5:15 p.m.

St. Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic Church will present “Invitation to a Miracle,” courtesy of the music ministry, 5 p.m. Dec. 9. This is a choir and instrumental ensemble under the direction of Gary Stokes.

Admission is free; however, a freewill offering will be accepted.

All volunteers are invited to an appreciation dinner 6 p.m. in the parish hall.

RSVP by calling the office rectory at 610-266-0695 by Dec. 7 if you plan to attend the dinner.
