The borough office, 98 S. Fourth St., will be closed Nov. 22 and 23 for the holiday.
Recycling pickup has been moved up from Nov. 23 to Nov. 21. There is no change in garbage collection.

The community tree-lighting program, along with Santa’s visit to Coplay, will be held Dec. 6 outside the municipal building beginning 6:30 p.m.
The event is sponsored by Coplay Recreation & Welfare Association and will feature holiday carols.
The festivities continue in the auditorium with hot chocolate and doughnuts and entertainment provided by Lori and James.

St. John’s Lutheran Church, 18 S. Third St., will have its annual blood drive beginning 8 a.m. Nov. 24 in the first-floor social hall. The Miller-Keystone bloodmobile will be equipped for donations of red cells, plasma and platelets in addition to whole blood.
