William Lavenburg, 41, of Danielsville, is wanted by Lehigh Township Police Department for fleeing and eluding police, reckless endangerment and other traffic-related offenses.

According to a report, at approximately 8:30 a.m. Nov. 7, Lehigh Township Police Department was conducting speed enforcement on South Cottonwood Road. A dark gray Dodge Ram 2500 regular cab pickup with Pennsylvania registration ZJZ-0792 passed through at an excessive speed.

Officers attempted to stop the truck as it traveled eastbound on Route 248. The driver of the Dodge Ram, identified as Lavenburg, refused to stop for over a mile, police said. The vehicle finally pulled to the side of the road, on Route 248, east of Allen Street.

Once police were next to the truck in an attempt to speak to the driver, he sped off, continuing eastbound, police said.

Officers again attempted to stop the truck, which exited the roadway and traveled north through fields near Dannersville Road.

According to police, Lavenburg is wanted for state parole violations and is identified as having violent tendencies.
