Seniors who reside in North Catasauqua and Catasauqua or who belong to a church or organization in North Catasauqua or Catasauqua are invited to the 30th annual holiday meal 11:45 a.m. Dec. 1 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 417 Howertown Road, Catasauqua.

The meal, hosted by the Catasauqua Lions Club, is free, but reservations are encouraged. Register at any of the churches or borough halls, or call Joe at 610-264-4130, and leave a message if no one answers.

Mark your calendar for the third annual Christmas tree lighting at the George Taylor House, Lehigh and Poplar streets. It will be 5-7 p.m. Dec. 2.

Santa arrives 5:30 p.m. There will be guided house tours, food and music. Bring the whole family to enjoy some holiday spirit.
