CHAMBER MUSIC:

The Schumann Quartett performs at 3 p.m. Nov. 11, Faith United Church of Christ, 5992 Route 378 South, Center Valley, in the 2018-19 Chamber Music Society of Bethlehem concert series.

The program is: Schubert, String Quartet No. 6 D Major D. 74; Hindemith, Quartet No. 6 in E-flat Major (1943), and Brahms, Quartet No. 1 in C Minor, Op. 51, No. 1.

The Schumann Quartett performed during the Chamber Music Society’s 2017-18 season. The quartet includes three musicians from Germany and one musicain from Estonia.

The quartet has performed in Europe, Japan, has a residency at the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, and has made numerous recordings.
