A 22-year-old male, of Phillipsburg, N.J. and his 22-year-old passenger, also of New Jersey, escaped injury in an accident along Chestnut Street, Upper Milford Township, 4:23 p.m. Oct. 25.

According to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville, the truck was northbound in the 6100 block of Chestnut Street. The operator of the truck told police he had the vehicle on cruise control at approximately 45 mph when he felt the steering wheel lock and the vehicle drifted to the right and off the road. The vehicle struck a utility pole on the shoulder of the road, rolled over and struck a mailbox and a second utility pole before coming to a rest on the roof.

Macungie Ambulance Corps also responded to the scene.

An unknown person used a set of keys to unlock a golf electronics display and attempted to remove several items at Dick’s Sporting Goods, 707 N. Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, 1 p.m. Oct. 10, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. An employee approached the person and he dropped the items and left the store.
