The counseling office is offering Emmaus High School seniors the opportunity to participate in instant decision days for Bloomsburg University as part of the college application process Nov. 8. EHS students may visit the counseling website or the school counseling office for information.

Anyone planning to take Spanish 3, 4, 4 Honors, SNS 5 or 5 Advanced Placement in the 2019-2020 academic year and interested in traveling to Spain during Easter break 2020, is encouraged to see Señora Hess, Señora Ardito or Señor Montepeque for information.

The Pediatric Cancer Club recently announced the EHS Shave for the Brave will be held March 8, 2019. If you are interested in being part of the event, visit www.stbaldricks.org and search for EHS.

The European art and humanities trip has been organized and is ready for registration. Pick up some of the paperwork from Mrs. Maley or Ms. Caruso in the art department and attend an informational meeting 6:30 p.m. Nov. 7 in Room 520. On this trip, there will be an intensive tour of Italy, starting in Venice to Rome, seeing the best Italy has to offer in its cities as well as enjoying some of the Mediterranean coastal towns. The trip is scheduled Spring 2020.

Buzz Magazine members and staff will meet 2:30 p.m. Nov. 7 in the learning lab. This meeting will be to plan the November photo shoot. Anyone wishing to participate in the shoot should plan to attend this meeting.

Picture retake day is scheduled Nov. 8. Signup in the activities office to have a picture taken for the first time, for a school I.D. or for a retake. The original packet of pictures must be returned if getting a retake. For those students who were absent on picture day, there will order forms in the office to order pictures.

Any sophomore who is interested in the Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership Seminar, may pick up an application from Mrs. Bray or Mrs. McCarthy in the counseling office. Completed applications mut be returned by Nov. 9.

Habitat for Humanity will be host a gingerbread house decorating contest 5:30 to 8 p.m. Dec. 11 in the cafe. There is a cost to enter. Teams of up to four are encouraged. Prize categories include creativity, neatness and most traditional. Registration forms are available in Room 513. Gingerbread house kits can be ordered until Nov. 19.

Mud Club meets every Tuesday in Room 520.
