Whitehall Township Public Library: Annual basket raffle was a hit
We would like to thank all of the patrons and staff who contributed to the annual fall basket raffle fundraiser for the library. It was a big success because of you!
We had 76 baskets, and the library made $1,085. This money will be used for programs and supplies during the year.

Jolie Chylack, from the Lehigh County Conservation District, will present the program Thank You, Mother Nature 11 a.m. Nov. 14 at Whitehall Township Public Library.
November is a month for being grateful and saying thank you, and there are so many reasons to appreciate our beautiful Mother Nature. During this session, we’ll learn about local environmental treasures, explore technology and inventions that were inspired by our natural world and create a special project that we can give back to our natural world.
This program is free and open to all residents.

The library will help collect items this year for Whitehall-Coplay School District students to be used in the Snack Pack Pals program.
The packs of food are gathered and packed for kids who are in the most need of nutritious foods to alleviate hunger during long weekends when free breakfast and lunch are not available at the school. If you would like to make a food donation, see the list below and drop off donations during regular library hours.
Items needed include shelf-stable milk boxes; macaroni and cheese (boxes and individual packets); Chef Boyardee (cans and microwaveable bowls); small boxes of cold cereal; fruit cups; applesauce cups; juice boxes and pouches; fruit snacks; packs of cheese and peanut butter crackers; graham crackers; granola bars; and gallon-size resealable bags.
Personal and toiletry items are also needed. We will be gathering shampoo, body wash, soap, deodorant, shaving cream and tissues.
A complete list can be found at the library.
Thank you to all of our wonderful patrons for donating this past year!
