The Volunteer Center of the Lehigh Valley, 2158 Ave. C, Suite 201, Bethlehem, has launched its 2018 Holiday Hope Chests program: Happiness in a Shoe Box.

This year there are 35 nonprofit organizations that have put in a total request for 7,500 shoe boxes.

The Volunteer Center of the Lehigh Valley’s goal is to meet their needs.

Help is needed to wrapped and filled 7,500 shoe boxes. Every shoe box benefits a child in the Lehigh Valley.

· Complete a 2018 Donor Pledge Form. To see a list of agencies receiving the shoe boxes, visit their website.

· The Volunteer Center will send gift tags with the ages and genders of the children for the shoe boxes. They directly match the requests of the nonprofits.

· Download a detailed listing of suggested gift items for the boxes from the website.

· Drop off wrapped, filled Holiday Hope Chests on the designated day and time you indicated.

The Volunteer Center will confirm in advance the totals and drop-off location details.
