A resident in the 1200 block of Trapps Lane reported Oct. 19 receiving a call where the representative demanded $2,000 in gift cards. The resident did not comply and reported the scam to police.

Salisbury police followed a truck which dropped a toolbox on the road 9:22 a.m. Oct. 23 at the intersection of Emmaus Avenue and Gaskill Avenue. The officer stopped and left the toolbox on the side of the road. The officer eventually caught up with the truck driver and when the two returned to where the toolbox was left, it was gone.
