Upper Macungie police, along with Trexlertown, Upper Macungie and Fogelsville firefighters responded 12:33 a.m. Oct. 27 for a mobile home fire at 1036 Cherry Tree Crossing in the Green Acres Mobile Home Park.
Police say upon their arrival the front of the mobile home was engulfed in flames.
Police attempted to enter the home but flames and smoke prevented their doing so.
After the fire was extinguished, the mobile home was cleared by firefighters and found to be unoccupied, police say.
This fire remains under investigation by both Upper Macungie and state police and Upper Macungie fire marshals.
Police say no injuries occurred, however, several pets died in the fire.
Cetronia Ambulance Corps also assisted at the scene.
According to Lehigh County assessment records, the mobile home is owned by Luz Paniagua.
