“Breakfast with a famous mouse” for children ages infant through 12 years old with a parent or caregiver 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the Lower Macungie Community Center, 3450 Brookside Road, Macungie. Preregistration is limited to 100 people. Bring a camera to take a picture. Breakfast includes: cereal, muffin, banana, milk and juice. Holiday bazaar 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Zion Lehigh Lutheran Church, 8269 Spring Creek Road, Alburtis. Crafts, basket raffle, bake sale and grandma’s attic will be available. The kitchen will be open for lunch. A free eye screening for children (10 a.m. to noon) will be provided by the Center for Vision Loss, sponsored by the Alburtis Lions Club. The Philadelphia Brass will perform 3 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church of Allentown, 3231 Tilghman St., Allentown, as part of the 2018-2019 Gloria S. Snyder Concert Series. The Emmaus Public Library will hold a ribbon cutting for the new children’s wing 2 p.m. The addition has increased the library’s floor space by over 2,000 square feet, providing a flexible area for educational programs for children and gives the young adults designated space just for them and their collections. The previous children’s section will be transformed into an adult reading lounge with a permanent Friends of the Emmaus Public Library book sale area. What happens when the shouting, accusations and campaign bragging is over and the 116th United States Congress convenes Jan. 3, 2019? The public is invited to hear the opinions of three locally-based experts on gender politics, gerrymandering and party tribalism in the Wesley Church auditorium, 2540 Center St., Bethlehem. 10th annual craft fair at Lower Macungie Community Center, 3450 Brookside Road, Macungie 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Over 100 vendors and a raffle of 60 or more prizes.
