The November basket raffle is here! Plan to visit the library to check out the baskets Nov. 3-17.

The drawing will be 4 p.m. Nov. 17.

If you would like to donate a basket or items for a basket, please drop them off during our open hours as soon as possible.

Reminder: Storytime and crafts with Miss Veronica will be held 11 a.m. Nov. 1, 8, 15 and 29.

Children of all ages are welcome, and no preregistration is required.

Our book sale is another reason to spend some time in the library. The sale runs 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Nov. 16 and 17.

A special theme for this year is World War I.

Enjoy our usual great selection of materials, including books, DVDs, CDs, specialty magazines, vinyl albums, puzzles and a wide selection of adult and children’s materials for the holiday season.

The library will close 5 p.m. Nov. 21 and will be closed Thanksgiving Day.

The library will reopen 10 a.m. Nov. 23.

Game night is 5-7 p.m. Nov. 26.

You can take on our Scrabble experts or you can play a different game. If you have any game suggestions, please let us know.

Take some time in November to join us and all citizens in commemorating Veterans Day.

Remember those who served or are serving, those fallen and those gone, those who survived and are still with us, those suffering from any form of disability and their caregivers, those whose efforts were in noncombat departments and all those who helped protect our troops from harm and assisted wounded survivors.

Thank you for your patriotism, love of country and sacrifice for the common good.

The library is collecting historical memorabilia to display for the Borough of Coplay’s 150th anniversary celebrations in 2019.

If you have any items you would like to be part of a display to be viewed by the community and visitors, talk to a staff member. Be assured the item(s) will be treated with care and returned to you.

We accept donations for our book sales all year. Please bring donations during our open hours: 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
