Laurel Fire Company, 5114 Third St., Cementon, will be hosting its annual Gobble Gobble Turkey Raffle 2-4 p.m. Nov. 4.

Egypt Community Church, 4129 S. Church St., invites everyone in the community to a prayer gathering 7-8 p.m. Nov. 5.
This will not be a regular church service, so it does not matter what church you normally go to. There will be no offering or sermon.
There will be no mention of political candidates, parties or platforms.
This event is meant to bring the community together to pray, in your own way, for the healing of the divisions in our country. This event will be praying for the heart, soul and future of our nation.
