LOWHILL TOWNSHIP: Morgenland Church members cooking spaghetti dinner Nov. 3

Morgenland Church, 3120 Weidasville Road, Orefield, will have its annual spaghetti dinner from 4-7 p.m. Nov. 3.

Menu includes spaghetti with homemade meatballs, salad, garlic bread, beverages and homemade desserts.

Tickets are available at the door or by calling Paul 610-395-6885.

Donations of homemade baked goods may be dropped off at the church on Nov. 2 or 3.

The church is accepting orders until Nov. 11 for its candy sale.

Pick up will be 9 a.m. to noon Dec. 8.

Choose from either half-pound or pound of light or dark peanut clusters, raisin clusters, cashew patties, peanut butter, coconut crème, molasses coconut, caramels, light covered pretzels, dark chocolate crème filled peanut roll and more.

Christ’s Church at Lowhill, 4695 Lowhill Church Road, New Tripoli, trunk or treat in the grove will be 3-6 p.m. on Oct. 27.

This event is open to the community and there will be games and treats.

Food will be available for purchase.

Girl Scout, Boy Scout Troops, teams or groups are welcome.

Bring children out for an afternoon of fun in a safe and friendly environment.

Consider decorating a trunk or table to give out treats for the kids.

Christ’s Church at Lowhill’s deadline to order Thomson Meat Market hoagies is Nov. 4.

Hoagies will be available for pickup at the church on Nov. 14.

Italian, ham and cheese, turkey, roast beef, tuna and veggie are available.

Lehigh Valley Zoo, 5150 Game Preserve Road, Schnecksville, is having Boo at the Zoo Oct. 27 and 28.

Wear costumes and trick or treat throughout the zoo.

There will be a variety of candy and treat stations, craft and activity tables, vendors and music from noon to 2 p.m. each day courtesy of DJ Ray from Fling-A-Things.

There will also be a fun lineup of interactive experiences including spooky animal mingles.
