You still have time to buy tickets for Whitehall Township Public Library’s annual basket raffle. Items are on display until noon Oct. 29.

We have 76 wonderful, themed baskets on display - everything from IronPigs, Christmas, children’s, cat, gift cards from local businesses, Vermont maple, books and more.

Winners will be drawn noon and called on that day. You don’t need to be present to win, but we will need your name and phone number on the ticket stub when you buy your tickets. If you do not pick up your basket by Nov. 5, another ticket will be drawn, and the basket will go to the next winner.

Join us 6:30-7:30 p.m. Nov. 6 for Creation Station Club. This building program is held the first Tuesday of the month and is open to all children.

Construction play teaches children to problem solve, connect socially, understand and be inquisitive in their play. Playing with no specific set purpose or limitations allows children to use the full force of their imaginations. Also, building something gives children immense satisfaction and a feeling of accomplishment, which is great for their confidence and sense of independence.

There will be adult coloring club meetings 11 a.m. Nov. 13 and 27. Anyone 18 years old and older is welcome to join us every second and fourth Tuesday of the month.

The library has some supplies but invites you to bring your own as well.

The program is free and open to all.

Jolie Chylack, from Lehigh County Conservation District, will present the Thank You, Mother Nature program 11 a.m. Nov. 14.

During this session, we’ll learn about local environmental treasures and explore technology and inventions that were inspired by our natural world. We’ll even create a special project that we can give back to our natural world.

Mark your calendar for the annual book sale to be held 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Nov. 16 and 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Nov. 17 in the community room.

At our annual used book sale, you can, of course, find new and gently used books and media, but we will also have a table full of holiday items and a table of yummy treats for sale.

There will be a $5-per-bag sale for the books noon-3 p.m. Nov. 17.
