To the Editor:
Tarah Probst is the right choice for state Senate in the 40th District.
A Northeast Pennsylvania native, Probst has been both living and giving in the community her entire life.
The mayor of Stroudsburg, she understands the unique needs of our region and the economic conditions we must create to be successful. She is willing to work with her colleagues to do what is best for our district, regardless of party affiliation. She believes all voices need to be heard when legislators go to vote.
When a new school board began closing local schools without any savings, Probst rallied the community to fight them - and won. She has learned the need for fair school funding and the importance of education and employment training opportunities.
The current property tax system is extremely unequal, and Probst will work to pass a legislative fix. Her plan is comprehensive, addressing both raising revenue and spending.
Probst wants to take action once she is elected to offer true relief for homeowners, rather than just talking about it. She will not play games with our public dollars.
On Nov. 6, elect Tarah Probst. She will go to Harrisburg and fight for us!
