St. John’s United Church of Christ, 575 Grape St., will be holding a trunk or treat 6-8 p.m. Oct. 26 in the parking lot.

Decorate your trunk and hand out candy to the Halloween gang.

St. Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic Church, 618 Fullerton Ave., will be having its first trunk or treat 3:30 p.m. Oct. 28 in the parking lot.

All parish families are invited.

Cars should arrive 3-3:30 p.m. The youth group and men from the Knights of Columbus will help park cars. After 3:30 p.m., no cars will be allowed in; then, the treating begins!

St. Elizabeth’s will be hosting a free Whitehall-Coplay Hunger Initiative community meal in the parish hall 4-6:30 p.m. Nov. 4.

Anyone in the community and parish is welcome to attend.

St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 835 Third St., will be selling food and baked goods on Election Day, Nov. 6.

Volunteers to help that day or provide baked goods would be greatly appreciated. There will be a sign-up sheet in the fellowship hall.
