District News: NAHS Drama Club will entertain with ‘Mystery at the Manor’
Northampton Area High School Drama Club will present “Mystery at the Manor” 6:30-10:30 p.m. Oct. 19 at Blue Monkey Sports Bar & Restaurant, 1094 Howertown Road, North Catasauqua.
You’re invited to help solve the mystery of who killed Lord Heathcliff. Following the show, there will be karaoke.
The ticket price includes the entertainment and a buffet dinner.

NAHS field hockey’s booster club is holding a gift card bingo Oct. 21 at Klecknersville Rangers Volunteer Fire Company, 2718 Mountain View Drive, Bath. Doors open 11:30 a.m., and bingo begins noon.
If you purchase tickets in advance, they are $25, which includes the specials. At the door, the tickets are $30.
Gift cards are valued up to $75.
There will be lunch and snack items available to purchase.

Northampton Area Konkrete Kids Educational Foundation is currently accepting nominations for the 2019 Distinguished Alumni Award. A Distinguished Alumni Award nominee must have the following criteria/accomplishments.
• Graduated from NAHS at least 15 years ago
• Reflect NAHS’ proud tradition of producing outstanding graduates and role models who have demonstrated leadership and excellence in their professional and personal lives
• Achieved outstanding success in his/her chosen field or profession
• Performed substantial community service or other volunteer work
• Made a positive impact on others
• Received special recognition or awards
Posthumous nominations will be accepted.
The selected Distinguished Alumni Award recipient(s) will have a permanent plaque placed on the newly established Distinguished Alumni Wall of Honor, located in the main lobby of NAHS, which already displays the 2018 honorees.
The 2019 award recipient(s) will be publicly honored at the Distinguished Alumni Award Celebration, scheduled for April 26, 2019, at Woodstone Country Club and Lodge, Danielsville.
Nomination forms, as well as additional details for nominating an NAHS graduate for the Distinguished Alumni Award, are available at konkretefoundation.org or by calling 610-767-7824. Nomination forms must be submitted by Nov. 1.
